I just did a drawing of a sunrise, red and purple and blue, with a majestic bird of prey flying above the landscape. I called it "Shepard's warning"! LoL
You know that art comes through from that place too; in fact according to some Zen masters, the creative activity of art by-passes the cloud that analytical thinking can conjour up to cover over the real. They say that when an artist is involved in their work, it comes straight through and the false boundaries between the world and the self lessen (even dissolve!)
Thay speak truly, dear Ross. For when the colours begin to spread themselves on the canvas there is no “artist” present, only Being. That’s my experience at least, hence my return to that, my first love, and my first sense of stillness. 🪷💚🙏
