The issue of identity, when one is dwelling on such deep level, isn't specifically you, although in a very real way the boundaries between you and others are far more permeable. We become others, and thus participate in their lives. In a sense we are them and also ourselves simultaneously.
I've actually come to appreciate such moments, because they have helped me to transform set expectations and notions, to ask significant questions, and to embrace the mystery of being.
